TIMBER DRYERS
Our timber dryers are designed to dry wood efficiently and uniformly with minimum drying defects. In addition, we place strong emphasis on the reliability and durability of our components which need to operate under hot, humid, and corrosive environments. Our new generation of digital drying controllers will execute the drying automatically and precisely.
DRYER COMPONENTS
Timber dryers operate in very hot, humid, and corrosive environments. Components and materials used must be able resist high humidity, corrosion and heat. Timber dryers are expensive assets and need to be operating continuously with minimum downtime. Unreliable components can cause the dryers to break down frequently.
MOISTURE METERS
UNDERSTANDING MOISTURE CONTENT : Moisture content, expressed in % MC, is a measurement of the amount (in terms of weight) of water present in the material compared to the bone dry weight of the material.

QUALITY CONTROL INSTRUMENTS
Besides achieving the correct moisture content for the timber and concrete, the other quality requirements for the finished products. Most buyers will specify the wood coating colour according to their reference colour. In addition, the buyer will specify the gloss requirement of the coating in terms of GU (Gloss Units) based on either 20o, 60o or 85o angle of the incident light.

Tritherm does not manufacture steam boilers, but we do work with different manufacturers in various countries.

WOOD TREATMENTS
Tritherm specializes in Thermal treatment of timber in a pressurized vessel.The pressure and steam in the vessel allow better control of the humidity in the vessel and gives better treatment colour and prevents the wood from cracking. The treatment pressure can be up to 4 to 6 bar. Therefore it must be made by an approved and certified pressure vessel maker.The vessel must be constructed out of stainless steel due to the acidic vapour inside.
Tritherm can supply treatment vessels for up to 8 m3 capacity, which can be loaded in a 40 ft container. Any larger capacity, the vessel can only be shipped on a flat rack or by conventional cargo. The shipping cost can be very high.
