Conventional Timber Dryer - HEAT PUMP HEATED DRYER

The heat pump, as the name implies, pumps heat from the outside into the drying chamber. This system makes of a refrigerant to absorb the heat from the outside and transfer the heat to inside the dryer at different pressure state in the liquid and vapor phase. The very efficient scroll compressor is used to compress the refrigerant into a superheated vapor. The heat is transferred through the condenser placed inside the dryer.
The air circulation fans will carry the heat away to the timber.
The system uses 1 Kw of electrical power to the compressor to produce 3 Kw of heat. Compare this to electrical heating where 1 Kw of heat produce only 0.8 Kw of heat.
The moisture in from the drying is removed by venting through the Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV). Operating the Heat Pup heated dryer is easy, clean and green, requiring minimum supervision.
